'After Maestro's 2nd place in Special Puppy Dog at Crufts 2008 he went one better in 2009 by being placed 1st in Yearling Dog. 31 dogs were present in a lovely high quality class. It was a thrilling day and a rewarding achievement.
Since his Championship Show debut in January 2008 Maestro gained eleven 1sts and seven 2nds by March 2009 and was rarely unplaced.
At his first, Boston Championship Show, he was Best Puppy in Breed.
In Breed Open Shows he has been Best Puppy Dog and, twice, Best Dog and Reserve Best in Show. And this was while he was under 2 years old. He gained his Junior Warrant with ease.
Maestro has already proved himself to be an excellent stud dog. His first puppies were born on 18 October 2008 to Kennelridge First Addition and he has passed on his wonderful conformation, animation and his happy laid back and loving temperament.
Kennelridge Focus, a dog puppy from this first litter, will hopefully make his show debut in April 2009. See photographs of Focus under Progeny.
